Clannad After Story – Kyou After

Summary
In another world, Ryou finally gets the courage to confess to Tomoya and he reluctantly agrees to date her. Later, Tomoya sees Kyou walking gloomily by herself so he decides to talk to her. They strike up a conversation and it eventually leads to Kyou asking if he kissed Ryou yet. He says no and Kyou then asks if he wanted to kiss her for practice. The two lean over towards eachother but Kyou then stops. Rumors then go around that Kyou and Tomoya are dating. To stop this, Kyou tries to confess to Sunohara but fails because he believes that she likes Tomoya. Tomoya overhears this and things get awkward.
Tomoya is now wondering what choices he should make regarding the twins and asks for some advice from Sunohara. He says that Tomoya has to pick one before anyone else gets hurt. He then gets Ryou alone in the classroom but she won’t let him speak (seemingly knowing that he will break up with her). She then kisses him and gets him even more confused as to what he should do. A few days pass and Tomoya talks to Ryou(or so he thinks) and reveals that he actually loves Kyou. Kyou disguised as Ryou jumps in Tomoya’s arms and reveals that Ryou told Kyou to stop running away from Tomoya if she really loves him. In the end it was Ryou that helps Tomoya and Kyou get together.

I was waiting for a good encoded Raw before blogging this because not doing so would bring no justice to this amazingly vivid show. Every time I watch Clannad I am always amazed at how they can keep finding ways to make their animation quality evolve. The colors and details were as good as I thought they would be. I swear to god I want to kiss the director because Clannad was just about the only show that could make me find a character cute by their movements or how they are animated to move.
The presentation of the story itself didn’t leave much of an impact on me as the original visual novel did but it is still good enough to make me watch it over and over again. I especially liked the short segment that signified that Ryou had tried to silence Kyou’s feelings toward Tomoya. Save for Tomoyo, Kyou is actually my favorite character in the series and my grin was going through the roof when I found out it was going to be animated. Based on how well this episode turned out, it seems that my bliss was well placed.

Kyou with short hair is fine too. but yeah i still prefer her long hair~ XD i wish they didnt packed this arch in 1 ep. at least 3 would have been better. XD
Yes, needs more Kyou and less 5 minute love relationships. Kyou with short hair at the end looks the same anyway ~_~
結構面白い話でしたよね。
